The Great Escape (from the elections!)

So, my stress level is pretty high these days. Whose isn’t! I made this necklace on Nov. 4th while I was trying not to watch the news. My blood pressure is up and I blame the elections. So I decided to work out, get drunk and make a piece of jewelry. It totally helped! This necklace helped me to escape from the stress of the election and the pandemic and even though I was somewhat plastered when I designed it, I think it came out great! I made it a little longer than usual. It is about 18 inches with 2 inches of extender chain. I did that so I could layer with my other pieces more easily. The beads included are Roman glass, turquoise, ruby, garnet, labradorite, chrysocolla, Peruvian Opal, apatite, carnelian, brass, apple coral, crystal and amethyst.
