My son names the jewelry and he had such a hard time with this collection that I decided to just call it what it is. It starts at the top with a gold filled lever back then a gaspeite bead, ruby surrounded by a gold plated bezel. Then a ring which has carnelian, labradorite, purple turquoise, sleeping beauty turquoise, chrysoprase and ruby. Then I have stacked 2 pieces of turquoise and ended it with a dart. (The only part of the earring my son could come up with a name!)

My son names the jewelry and he had such a hard time with this collection that I decided to just call it what it is. (The only part of the earring my son could come up with a name!)

River (my son) wanted to call these mama’s earrings but I thought that was weird so we went with Jill’s earrings. I have been wearing this style for so long I am not even sure if it 10 or maybe 15 years. So needless to say they are my favorites! These earrings used to have the unfortunate name of the Isis earrings. Named after the Egyptian Goddess of rebirth. I was inspired by a trip to Egypt of the use of lapis with gold for a wonderful symbiosis. Unfortunately the name Isis had to go. I was thinking of naming Zoey Isis. I guess I should be thankful I didn’t do that! It would beholder to change then the name of these earrings.
