Description
Sugilite comes from the Kalahari desert in South Africa. It was first found over 3000 feet under the earth in a manganese mine. The more magenta the color the more rare. I wear a necklace almost exactly like this every day of my life. I combined the sugilite with Thai silver, ruby, gaspeite, spiny oyster shell, sapphires, greater than 200 year old Tibetan coral, natural turquiose, carnelian and chrysoprase. it measures a little longer than 16 inches with 2 inches of extender chain. (sorry I don’t have a ruler on me at the moment)
