My first inspiration for lapis and gold together was while traveling through Egypt. Like peanut butter and jelly, lapis and gold are perfect together! I also added carnelian, turquoise, apatite, phosphosiderite, ruby, Roman glass, amethyst, sapphire, purple turquoise, Czech crystal, and chrysoprase.
