The company I bought it from wrote this: Guaranteed genuine 100% natural lazasine not treated in any way.This exotic material comes from a small private mine in Tibet. The mine is located at an elevation of 4,000 m, in a frigid area with thin air. There is no more mining, making this stone highly sought after. Lazasine is a gem-quality feldspar derived from volcano sediments related to Jurassic-Cretaceous volcanic rocks. This copper-bearing feldspar (andesine) is prized for its color and rarity. This red andesine is also called “Tibetan sunstone” and “Tibetan red labradorite”, and endowed with spiritual power.
I have added chrysoprase, tanzanite, lepidolite, apatite, tourmaline, tuquoise, peridot, phosphosiderite, amethyst, apple coral, opal and ruby. It measures 16 inches with 2 inch extender chain.
