Rainy Day in June Vintage African Glass Bracelet

My background in Cultural Anthropology brought me to my career. I started collecting beads, pendants and Talismans while backpacking the world. One of my first trips I found myself in the Cairo museum falling in love with ancient mummy beads. Since that time I started collecting old beads from around the world. I don’t often sell these pieces but on this rainy day in June I made myself a bracelet and then had just enough to make one more for sale. These beads are vintage African glass probably made in Italy but traded throughout Asia and Africa for centuries. These beads are believed to be from the early 1900’s. The other beads include ruby, Ancient Carnelian agate approximately 300 years old, Fulani glass tube bead from the 1800’s, Tibetan vintage Coral, purple and blue turquoise. Strung on a jewelers elastic.
